The Vista Education Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing educational opportunities and experiences for students in the Vista Unified School District. Through community support and strategic partnerships, the Foundation aims to empower students with the resources they need to succeed in their academic journey by providing financial support for students for scholarships, arts, technology and internships. Their board is made up of dedicated community members, esteemed business leaders, and seasoned educators. Members include Vicente Hinojosa, John Herrera, Susan Stuber, Terry Van Kirk, Marie Hoveln, Dr. Dave Sherman, Julie Lowen, Arthur Lopez, Denisse Barragan, Tracy Zachry, as well as VUSD Superintendent Dr. Matt Doyle, and Vista Mayor John Franklin.
