Stephen Budd has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. In 1999, they worked at the London Stock Exchange as a Product Manager, where they managed real-time price information for equity trades. From 2003 to 2012, Stephen co-founded and operated Highland Business Research, a data analytics consultancy specializing in digital analytics.

In 2015, Stephen participated in the Saltire Fellowship, a fast-track MBA program that focused on developing emerging leaders. Stephen studied at Babson College and interned at Scottish companies to apply their learning.

Stephen then held positions at Clear Returns, a predictive analytics company, where they were a Consulting Founder and later became a Founding Team Member and Chief Product Officer. Stephen played a crucial role in their go-to-market strategy and product development.

From 2017 to 2018, Stephen worked as a Product Manager at ZoneFox, a cybersecurity company, leading product growth and innovation. Stephen also served as the Interim Head of Product at Phlo, an online pharmacy, in 2018.

In 2018, Stephen co-founded Get Market Fit, a start-up offering Entrepreneurial Innovation Delivery as a Service. Stephen was responsible for establishing direction, tech delivery culture, and strategic roadmaps within early-stage med-tech growth companies.

Currently, Stephen is the Chief Product Officer and Co-Founder of Vistalworks, a company focused on reducing the harm caused by fake and illicitly traded goods. They aim to help online shoppers understand the risks before making a purchase.

Throughout their career, Stephen has demonstrated expertise in product management, strategic planning, and business development across various industries.

Stephen Budd completed a Saltire Fellowship in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies at Babson College in 2015. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) in European Literature, Theory and Thought from Queen Mary University of London from 1994 to 1996. Stephen also obtained a Bachelor of Arts with Honors (BA Hons) in German and History of Art from UCL from 1990 to 1994. Additionally, they participated in a one-year exchange program in German Language and Literature at Freie Universität Berlin in 1992-1993.
