Begun in 1999, VistaMed has become a leading extrusion and catheter provider to the medical device industry. Operating from three facilities, one dedicated to extrusion in Rooskey Ireland, one to catheter assembly in Carrick-on-Shannon Ireland, and one state of the art Research and Development Centre also in Carrick-on-Shannon Ireland.  VistaMed has 42,000 square feet of manufacturing space. All manufacturing is carried out in clean conditions in order to meet the cleanliness standards of the medical device industry.

In 2010, VistaMed expanded its product offering by partnering with Helix Medical (now Freudenberg Medical) . Freudenberg Medical, a division of the Freudenberg Group, is a custom manufacturer for the medical device and healthcare industries with 10 manufacturing operations worldwide. Medical manufacturing capabilities include product design and development, silicone and thermoplastic molding and extrusions, complex catheter systems, assembly, packaging, and engineering services. This partnership allows VistaMed and Freudenberg Medical to provide a more comprehensive solution to your medical device needs.
