Charles Mitchell

Charles Mitchell is a seasoned professional in the field of process development, currently serving as a Sr. Process Scientist at Visterra Inc. since October 2020, where responsibilities include leading cell line development and the creation of CHO cell lines for protein therapeutics. Previous experience includes roles as a Sr. Research Associate at Invaio Sciences, focusing on scalable Tangential Flow Filtration processes, and as a Process Engineer III at LakePharma, where design of flexible manufacturing processes for clinical trial biologics was key. Notable earlier positions include contributions at Amgen in monoclonal antibody manufacturing and as a NSF Graduate Research Fellow at MIT, where innovations in biomarker assays were achieved.
