Stephen Devault

Stephen DeVault is an experienced professional in regulatory examination and training within the nuclear and energy sectors. Currently serving as a Regulatory Exam Author at Vistra Corp since March 2024, Stephen's prior roles include Staff Nuclear Ops Instructor at Energy Harbor and Sr Ops Training Instructor at Exelon. From February 2008 to November 2018, Stephen held various managerial and training positions at Westinghouse Electric Company, where responsibilities included overseeing reactor operator training and project management for international nuclear projects. Additionally, Stephen's career includes significant experience in training development for the US Army, program management in submarine training, and service as a Junior Officer in the US Navy. Stephen holds a Master's degree in Occupational Safety and Health from Columbia Southern University and a Master's in Engineering Management from Old Dominion University, complemented by dual Bachelor's degrees in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University.
