David King

David King has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. David is currently working at Vistry Group as the Group Design and Technical Director, a role they have held since January 2023. Prior to this, they were the Head of Group Design and Technical at Vistry Group for the year 2022. From July 2019 to December 2021, they served as the National Head of Design at Vistry Group. Before joining Vistry Group, David worked as an Associate at Focus on Design from October 2017 to June 2019. David also held the position of Senior Development Manager at HARROW ESTATES PLC from October 2016 to October 2017. David gained experience at Redrow, where they served as a Seconded Project Manager from July 2015 to October 2016, as a Senior Designer from July 2014 to July 2015, and as a Designer from May 2010 to June 2014. David started their career as a Project Analyst at Thurston Building Systems Limited from June 2008 to May 2010. Prior to that, they worked as a Design Assistant at Consort Homes Ltd from September 2006 to June 2008 and at Fairclough Homes Ltd from May 2004 to September 2006.

David King attended Sheffield Hallam University from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a BSc degree in Architectural Technology. Prior to that, from 2000 to 2002, they studied at the City of Bristol Technology College, obtaining an AVCE degree in Construction and the Built Environment. In 2013, David obtained a Level 3 Award in First Line Management from the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM).
