David Jones

David Jones is an experienced professional with a diverse work history. David began their career as a Graphic Designer at SmartForce in 1998 and later worked as a Web Developer at Ebeon in 2000. From 2000 to 2001, they served as a Webmaster at PrintOrigin, where they updated and redesigned the company's website. In 2001, David co-founded Spiral Commercial Art House, a Graphic Design, Animation, and Interior Design Studio. During their time there, they were responsible for various tasks including design, illustration, sales, and marketing.

David joined Nokia in 2005 and held several roles within the company. As an Application Specialist, they supported the Nokia.com and My Nokia B2C websites and systems. David later became an Online Marketing Specialist, where they were involved in the development of the Symbian s60.com website. David then served as a Digital Marketing Manager, leading a program to establish a new Digital Marketing Channel within the Marketing business function. David developed and deployed content strategies for B2B and B2C email and Mobile Direct Marketing programs.

In 2013, David participated in the Talentgate ICT Project Management Program at Skilltize Oy, where they assisted in defining their Digital Marketing and Content strategy. David also worked on asset creation such as website layouts, content, and print material.

From 2015 to 2017, David worked as a Freelance IT Trainer and Data Migration Specialist at Fiskars Group. David designed and developed IT training content and supported the migration of users and their content to a new location on the intranet.

In 2019, David served as a Communications Specialist at Grumblo.com and Sounds Of Performance. David was involved in event and video production, as well as communications and marketing tasks.

In 2021, David joined Visual Components as a Technical Content Specialist, where they utilize their expertise to create technical content.

David Jones's education history includes attending Metropolia University of Applied Sciences from 2004 to 2005, where they studied Media Engineering. Prior to that, they attended Ballyfermot College of Further Education in Dublin from 1990 to 1992, where they focused on Animation. In addition to their formal education, David has also obtained a certification as a Certified Project Management Associate from the IPMA (International Project Management Association) in April 2014.
