Laura Typpö

Laura Typpö has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Laura currently works as the Head of People at Visual Components since August 2021. Prior to this, they were the Talent Acquisition Lead at Silo AI from April 2021 to August 2021 and at Cinia from January 2019 to April 2021.

Before their talent acquisition roles, Laura worked as a Consultant at Mercuri Urval from March 2017 to February 2019, where they focused on enabling organizations to achieve better results and helping individuals succeed at work. Laura started their career at Pro-Source Oy, where they held roles as a Recruitment Consultant and a Researcher from July 2013 to February 2017 and from October 2012 to June 2013, respectively.

During their career, Laura also gained experience as a Project Manager at Mainostoimisto Frank Oy from September 2011 to October 2012. Laura worked as an HR Coordinator and later as an Executive Assistant to the General Manager Nordic at ADP Dealer Services from August 2008 to August 2011, where they contributed to implementing SAP HR and gained insights into working in a multinational public company and navigating mergers and acquisitions.

Laura's earlier experiences include working as a Jr. Researcher at the University of Helsinki from August 2007 to May 2008, focusing on a neuroscience research project related to AMPA receptor interactions. Their earliest documented work experience is as a Primary School Teacher at the City of Helsinki from October 2004 to June 2005.

Laura Typpö holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of Helsinki. In addition to their degree, they have obtained the following certifications: a Cut-e Training Certificate in authorized use of cut-e's test methodology from cut-e Finland Oy in May 2014, and a DiSC certification from Inscape Publishing in September 2013.
