Valeria Norrbacka

Valeria Norrbacka has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Valeria began as a Cashier and Shop Manager at Dostoevsky Art Shop in 2009. In 2010, they worked as a Shop Assistant at Vieno Puustjärvi Ky, a role they held until 2012.

In 2012, Valeria joined Infomir Oy as a Trainee for a brief period of time. Valeria then became a Tour Guide at SPB Tours from 2012 to 2014, where they showcased their expertise in guiding tourists. During the same period, they also worked at Stockmann as part of the Customer Service in Visitor Center department.

From 2013 to 2015, Valeria worked as a Freelance Translator for Professional Oy and other translating companies. Valeria then transitioned to a Shop Manager role at Vieno Puustjärvi Ky from September 2014 to February 2015.

During 2015-2018, Valeria took on the role of an Office Manager and GDPR Responsible at both Villa Karhunpesä Rentals and WETT Finland Oy. Valeria'sresponsibilities included basic accounting tasks, office duties, company correspondence, translations, cooperation with authorities, and preparing the company to meet GDPR requirements. Additionally, they managed luxury cottage rentals in Saariselkä, Lapland, handled customer service, reservations, marketing, billing, financial reporting, and collaborated with maintenance companies.

Most recently, Valeria joined Visual Components in June 2018 as an Administrative Coordinator in the Business Operations division.

Valeria Norrbacka began their education in 2005 and graduated in 2010 from the Saint Petersburg University of Telecommunications with a degree in Regional studies (Northern Europe). From 2011 to 2013, they attended Helmi Business College, where they obtained a degree in Tourism. Later, from 2016 to 2018, Valeria studied Information and Communication Technology at the Finnish Institute for Enterprise Management. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications such as Microsoft Dynamics 365: Customizing with Power Apps from Pluralsight in January 2022, SQL Essential Training from LinkedIn in September 2021, Learning Data Science: Understanding the Basics from LinkedIn in August 2021, and Data Protection Officer from Helsingin seudun kauppakamari - Helsinki Region Chamber of Commerce in April 2018.
