John Everson

John Everson is a seasoned software engineering manager with extensive experience in the gaming and technology sectors. Currently serving as a Software Engineering Manager at Visual Concepts since March 2021, John leads the NBA2K project and manages engineering teams focused on retail and live operations while facilitating communication with stakeholders. Prior to this role, John held positions as a Senior Software Engineer at HookBang, where notable contributions included leading engineering efforts for the NBA 2K21 Gen4 project and developing augmented and virtual reality experiences. John also gained valuable experience at Zynga, where development of casino mobile apps was a primary responsibility, and Arkadium, working on interactive games and transitioning technologies. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Game and Interactive Media Design from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
