Rob Irving

Rob Irving is a seasoned professional in the gaming industry with an extensive background spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Senior Designer at Visual Concepts since March 2021, Rob has previously held significant roles such as Senior Technical Designer at HookBang and Technical Design Lead/Creative Director at Descendent Studios, where contributions included leading systems design for the game Descent: Underground. Additional experience includes serving as Lead Designer for the Star Citizen project at Cloud Imperium Games, and various roles in software development and project management at companies like Journyx, Gizmondo Studios Texas, and Sierra Entertainment. Rob holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from The University of Texas at Austin.
