Ying Ching Chen

Ying Ching Chen is an Associate Engineer at Visual Concepts since June 2023, with prior experience as a Research Assistant specializing in virtual reality development at the University of Utah's Department of Mechanical Engineering from August 2021 to May 2023. In this role, Ying Ching contributed to patient safety VR research by collecting data and automating the data uploading process. As a Graduate Research Assistant at The GApp Lab from May 2022 to August 2022, Ying Ching developed user interfaces for VR interactions and created systems to automate information generation. Previous experience as a Unity Developer at Surreal Co., Ltd. included programming educational VR games and enhancing operational efficiency through automated data pipelines and UI systems. Ying Ching holds a Master's degree in Entertainment Arts and Engineering from the University of Utah and a Bachelor's degree in Communication Engineering from National Central University.
