James Peters

James Peters has extensive work experience in the broadcast industry. James started their career in 1990 as a Broadcast Engineer at BBC, where they supported various broadcasting operations, including post-production systems and a live news studio. James also played a key role in deploying Colledia for Production digital production systems.

In 2004, James joined BBC Technology as a Colledia Broadcast Systems Specialist, responsible for deploying and supporting the Colledia for Production digital production solution. James then moved to Siemens IT Solutions and Services as a Broadcast Systems Specialist, working on digital production projects for the BBC and providing technical input for bid responses.

From 2010 to 2012, James worked at BBC as a Control System Developer. In this role, they developed and deployed parts of the BNCS broadcast control system for the BBC MediaCity installation project.

Since 2013, James has been working at Visual Data Media Services as a Broadcast Engineer. Their responsibilities include supporting and maintaining their in-house developed asset management and automation system, troubleshooting database and stored procedures, developing new task flows, and advising on integrating new services.
