Michael V. Mills

Michael V. Mills is the current Chief Financial Officer at Visual Edge. Prior to this, they were with FlexPrintMPS from January 2015 to August 2017 where they served as the company's Chief Financial Officer.

Mills was recruited to FlexPrintMPS based on their prior success in positioning and selling companies to private equity (PE) owners, along with their expertise in driving profitability. Their role was to ramp up the company's value as part of a long-term exit strategy. Michael identified potential PE buyers, drove the valuation process, engaged financing resources, and negotiated terms before executing the sale to a PE buyer.

As CFO, Mills had full profit and loss responsibility, seven direct reports, and a team of 50. Michael provided vision, strategy, and leadership around finance, legal, HR, IT, and operations. Michael also led the rollup via an aggressive acquisition strategy and participated heavily in IT initiatives, including the integration and implementation of acquired systems and processes. Michael also negotiated major client contracts.

Some of their notable accomplishments include leading the acquisition of four businesses during 2016-2017 with total revenues in the tens of millions of dollars. Michael also integrated the back office and ERP of all acquisitions to support the existing business. In addition, they reengineered accounts payable processes to handle high transaction volume. Michael also completed clean audited statements (BDO) of consolidated operations for 2016 along with compliance for federal/state income tax and sales tax in all U.S. states.

Michael V. Mills has a B.S. in Accounting and an MBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Dallas. Michael also has a degree in Chem Eng./Geology from the University of Texas at Austin.
