Simon Polak

Simon Polak is a researcher at Visual Layer since October 2024, bringing extensive experience from previous roles. Polak co-founded viisights in September 2015, serving as Chief Scientist until October 2024, and contributed as a Senior Algorithms Developer at Superfish from December 2010 to August 2015, where involvement focused on developing an intuitive visual search engine based on advanced algorithms. Earlier in their career, Polak was a software engineer at Intel Corporation from June 1999 to June 2004. Academic achievements include a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and incomplete doctoral studies at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
