Benjamin Butchko is an Advisor at Visual Plan Inc. Benjamin has over 25 years of experience in the field of security engineering.

Butchko began their career in 1989 as a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Sandia National Laboratories, where they worked on developing secure communications systems and designing experiments for airborne vehicles. In 1994, they transitioned to the private sector, taking a position as Product Manager for the Trucking Information Services Division at Eaton Corporation. There, they oversaw the development and implementation of a computerized logistics management product.

In 1997, Butchko joined ExxonMobil as a Security Engineer. In this role, they conducted risk assessments for the company's various business segments and geographic areas, and developed strategies for integrating security operations. Benjamin remained with ExxonMobil until 2004, when they left to start their own security consulting firm, butchko•esi.

Butchko•esi was acquired by Visual Plan Inc. in 2019, and Butchko now serves as an Advisor for the company.

Benjamin Butchko completed their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University. After working in the engineering field for a number of years, they decided to pursue a career in project management and obtained their Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. Benjamin also holds a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) certification from ASIS International.
