Koen Matthijs

Koen Matthijs has an extensive and diverse work experience. From 2022 onwards, they are serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Visualfabriq - AI Enhanced Revenue Management, where they oversee the development of their SaaS platform for global consumer packaged goods manufacturers. Prior to this, they worked as a Board Member at The Beacon - Smart Hub, contributing to strategic decision-making and future planning. Koen also took a sabbatical and traveled from February to November 2022 before joining Visualfabriq. From 2019 to 2022, they served as the Chief Division Officer of the Operate & Manage Division at Nemetschek Group, leading the division's growth based on a clear product and go-to-market strategy. Additionally, Koen has experience as an Ideator & Mentor at COBUNDU, CEO at SPACEWELL | A Nemetschek Company, Founder of SpartaNova, and Founder & CEO of Cernum. Koen has also served as a mentor at The Founder Institute and held the role of Thinker at Just Koen. Koen's work experience spans a wide range of industries, including software, technology, real estate, and sports.

Koen Matthijs began their education in 1986 at Sint-Aloysiuscollege Ninove, where they completed their secondary schooling. From 1989 to 1994, they attended KU Leuven and earned a degree in Civil Engineer Electrotechnics. Later, from 1998 to 2000, they pursued further education at EHSAL Management School and obtained a Master's degree in Industrial Science.
