VisualMed idea stems from a simple concept, “Efficient and user friendly dissemination of scientific literature and knowledge”. During my medicine rounds I hear my colleagues bringing up randomized trials and large scale studies which we used to quickly review in order to learn something new. Most of the times, we go straight to the abstracts to learn the precise conclusion of those studies. But this resulted in missing important information that was in the actual full document. This led to the concept of VisualMed. I wanted to create an eye candy, visually pleasing mode of learning where medical students and professionals can quickly go through an abstract and learn new information.
