Isabel Newsome

Isabel Newsome, Ph.D., currently serves as a Field Application Specialist at FUJIFILM VisualSonics, Inc. since August 2021. Prior experience includes a role as a Graduate Research Assistant in Biomedical Engineering at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from July 2016 to August 2021, focusing on contrast-enhanced ultrasound imaging and contributing to multiple first-author and co-author publications. Isabel's research background includes biomimetic systems development at Clarkson University as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in Biophysics, producing additional publications and presenting at several conferences. Isabel earned a Ph.D. in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics with a Minor in Mathematics from Clarkson University.
