Iain Murphy

Iain Murphy is a seasoned professional in purchasing and procurement, currently serving as the Purchasing Manager for Primary Packaging at Visy since September 2020. Prior to this role, Iain held various positions at O-I New Zealand from November 2009 to September 2020, including Procurement Processes and Systems Manager APAC, Program Manager for Business Process Improvement APAC, and Project Manager ANZ. Throughout this tenure, Iain played a pivotal role in several initiatives, such as the global SAP rollout and the development of procurement frameworks aimed at enhancing efficiency and reducing costs. Earlier experience includes a Logistics and Supply Coordinator position at Clariant from 2005 to 2008. Iain holds a CPIM certification in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from APICS and a BTech in Industrial Mathematics from the University of Auckland.
