Matt Stein

Matt Stein is an experienced legal professional currently serving as General Counsel for Visy Group since July 2008, where responsibilities include managing mergers and acquisitions, overseeing infrastructure projects, and providing legal advice on various matters, including corporate governance and intellectual property. Prior to Visy, Matt held roles as Senior Associate at MinterEllison, Legal and Project Manager at Marina Bay Sands, and Corporate/M&A Lawyer at Ashurst, as well as Legal Counsel during a secondment at Goldman Sachs. Matt began a legal career at MinterEllison as an articled clerk and junior lawyer. Matt holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and a Bachelor of Science from Monash University.
