Michael Peters has extensive experience in the packaging and technology sectors, currently serving as General Manager of Plastics - Rigid & Recycled at Visy since May 2009, where the focus is on sustainable packaging solutions. Previous roles at Visy include General Manager of Information Technology, overseeing enterprise-wide IT systems, and Strategic Projects Manager, responsible for significant capital projects and IT transformation initiatives. Prior to Visy, Michael managed a small consultancy and software development firm at Next-Gen Management Systems Pty Ltd. Michael began his career at Visy Industries as the inaugural Production Manager, contributing to the development of a $70 million automated corrugated packaging plant.
