Edwin Bernbaum, Ph.D., is a scholar of comparative religion and mythology focusing on the relationship between nature and culture. Currently serving as Principal at Peak Paradigms: Leadership & Teamwork, they deliver keynote presentations and conduct seminars that utilize celebrated mountains as models for leadership development. Edwin's noteworthy book, *Sacred Mountains of the World*, received multiple prestigious awards, including a gold medal from the Commonwealth Club of California. With extensive experience lecturing at renowned institutions, Edwin has also directed programs at The Mountain Institute, promoting the cultural and spiritual significance of mountains in various communities. They co-chair the IUCN group on Cultural and Spiritual Values of Protected Areas, working to integrate these values into conservation practices globally.
