Jon Ward

Jon Ward is an engineer at Vital. Jon was previously the lead product designer at ActionStep New Zealand from November 2010 to June 2021, responsible for UX / UI Design and Frontend engineering. Prior to that, they were the resource manager at Phosphor Essence from August 2008 to November 2010, where they were responsible for client liaison and project management, including information architecture and online strategy planning. From April 2003 to January 2018, Jon was a web developer at Ward Media Design, where they specialized in web design using Adobe Fireworks / Coding in HTML5 / CSS3 - ( LESSCSS / SASS ) / JQuery / PHP / Python / Mobile First web design - multi device compatibility / Browser compatibility / Technical SEO and SEM / Digital strategy. Jon also held the title of Web designer at Generator Bates from April 2001 to September 2001 and at Hyperactive from January 2000 to December 2001.

Jon Ward attended Newtown High School in Powys, Wales before completing their BSc in Electronic Imaging and Media Communications at the University of Bradford.

Their manager is Te Riu-Warren, Chief Technical Officer. Jon Ward works with Mike Neligan - Engineer, Bobby Donald - Engineer, and Roc Wong - Engineer.
