Vital Xposure is a disabled-led touring theatre company that promotes hidden voices with extraordinary stories to tell.

Led by award-winning neurodivergent director and producer, Stephen Bailey, the company centres narrative which you will not find on other stages, looking to people’s stories which are not otherwise given air and space.

OUR VISION: a fairer world for marginalised artists to become creative leaders, with their work celebrated in the heart of our culture.

We offer multi layered theatre productions ensuring quality work experiences for talented disabled artists. Our theatre productions lift the lid on vital social issues, raising awareness and uncovering new voices in the arts.

Founded in 2011 by Julie McNamara, a renowned director, writer and disability rights activist, we became an Arts Council England’s National Portfolio Organisation in 2012 and continue to be in the portfolio for the 2023-2027 period. We are grateful for the public investment in our work.
