James Schmidt

James Schmidt is an accomplished interventional cardiologist and Colonel in the US Army with extensive experience in cardiology and internal medicine primary care, serving since September 1987. Currently, Schmidt provides interventional cardiovascular services at CardioSolution and operates as a senior consultant and adjunct instructor, educating medical students in cardiovascular medicine. Schmidt’s previous roles include staff interventional cardiologist at David Grant Medical Center, medical director at Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center, and associate professor at both Wright State University and the University of Cincinnati. Schmidt also held significant positions in the Canadian Armed Forces, managing medical care in austere environments. Academic credentials include a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine from Stanford University and multiple degrees from the University of Cincinnati, including an MD in Medicine.
