Kent Freeman

Kent Freeman is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the digital learning and publishing sectors. Currently serving as CEO of VitalSource since June 2021, Kent has been instrumental in advancing the company's vision of becoming the leading provider of digital learning solutions. Prior to this role, Kent held various leadership positions at Ingram Content Group, including President of VitalSource Technologies and Chief Strategy and Development Officer, where strategic partnerships and product management were key focuses. Kent's earlier experience includes serving as Chief Operating Officer at VitalSource Technologies during its significant growth phase, as well as various roles at Ingram Digital Group and Ingram Book Company, contributing to technology development and business growth for over two decades. Kent holds a BS in Information Systems and Accounting from Middle Tennessee State University and furthered education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
