Tom Hansen

Tom Hansen has over 30 years of work experience in the marketing and advertising industry. Tom began their career in 1986 as a VP/Creative Director at Tracy Locke. Tom then moved to Leo Burnett in 1989, where they worked as a VP/Creative Director on accounts such as Hallmark, McDonald's, Miller Lite, United Airlines, and Kraft. In 1993, Tom moved to Y&R Chicago as a Creative Director, where they worked on brands such as Miller Brewing Company, Whataburger, Dr Pepper, Sprint, and PF Chang's. In 1995, they founded Square One, an advertising, marketing, design, and digital company that grew to 120 people with $180 million in billings in four years. In 2002, Tom became the President and CEO of Gigasphere Group, a company that owned proprietary still image and video compression technology. In 2004, they became President of TMAdvertising/McCann Worldgroup, where they revived the company structurally, strategically, and culturally. In 2009, Tom joined Heeling Sports Limited as President and CEO, where they hired a new management team, cut fixed costs, revamped product lines, and launched an online store. Finally, in 2015, Tom became the Chief Commercial Officer at VitalTech Innovations.

Tom Hansen attended The University of Kansas from 1974 to 1978 and obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Journalism/Business.
