Chris Gregory

Chris Gregory has a long history of experience in research and development. Chris began their career in 1984 as a Development Engineer at Heraeus LaserSonics. From 1992 to 1995, they served as a Senior Engineer at Galileo Electro-Optics. Chris then moved to Sarnoff Corporation, where they were a Group Head and led medical device group and development efforts in electochromic eyewear, disposable insulin pumps, and DNA sequencing. In 2002, they became the Director of Research & Development at ConvaTec. From 2013 to 2020, they were the Vice President of Research & Development at Valeritas, where they led R&D operations developing disposable insulin delivery systems and developed a Bluetooth communication accessory for the insulin delivery system. Chris also managed the company's intellectual property portfolio. In 2020, they moved to Vitara Biomedical, where they currently serve as the Vice President of Research & Development.

Chris Gregory began their education in 1976 at St. George's School. Chris then attended Brown University from 1980 to 1984, earning a Sc.B. in Mechanical Engineering. Chris continued their studies at Brown University from 1984 to 1986, earning a Master of Science in Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics & Chemical Processes. Finally, they attended Rutgers University from 1989 to 1992, earning a Doctor of Philosophy in Ceramic Science.
