Joel Watson

Joel Watson has extensive experience in hospice care and ministry, currently serving as an Admissions Liaison at Vitas since August 2016, while also holding the position of Hospice Chaplain with Vitas Healthcare since 2007. Prior to these roles, Joel worked as a Pastor at Colony Park Baptist Church from 2001 to 2007, and as a Hospice Chaplain at Samaritan Hospice from 2001 to March 2005. Joel began his career as a Chaplain Resident at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital from 1999 to 2001. Joel holds a Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, completed in 1999, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Alabama, earned in 1987.
