Tuto Assad

Tuto Assad is the CEO and Co-Founder of Vitau, a company that provides an online platform for health and wellness. Prior to Vitau, Tuto was the Director of Entrepreneurial Funds at Tecnológico de Monterrey from April 2017 to July 2019. In this role, Tuto helped entrepreneurs from Tec de Monterrey build their startups and connect with angel investors and VC funds.

Before their role at Tec de Monterrey, Tuto was the CEO and Co-Founder of Disruptive Angels from April 2014 to October 2016. At Disruptive Angels, Tuto accelerated startups and helped big companies innovate with open innovation methodologies.

Prior to Disruptive Angels, Tuto was the CEO and Founder of Maquinaria Pesada Avanza from October 2011 to January 2013. Before that, they were the CEO and Founder of Forrajes y Borregos Superiores from June 2003 to June 2010.

Tuto Assad has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Tecnologico de Monterrey and a Master in Business Innovation from CEDIM. Tuto is currently enrolled in the startup accelerator program at Y Combinator.
