Jason Derolin is an experienced electronics engineer with a strong background in integrated circuit design and video encoding technologies. Currently serving as an electronics engineer at VITEC since May 2011, Jason has worked on H265/HEVC video encoders and low latency H264/AVC video codecs utilizing mid-end FPGA technology. Previous roles include IC design engineering at renowned companies such as ST-Ericsson, ST-NXP Wireless, NXP Semiconductors, Philips, NewLogic, and Dolphin Integration, where Jason contributed to various projects ranging from Bluetooth modems to power management units and integrated circuits for audio and video processing. Jason's educational background includes a master's degree in science and engineering from Ecole centrale de Lyon and a DEA in semiconductors and microelectronics design from INSA Lyon.
