Stuart Carmichael is a seasoned hardware architect with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as a Senior Hardware Architect at VITEC since April 2021, Stuart has previously held similar positions at Exterity, where a career spanned from November 2002 to April 2021, including roles as Senior Principal Engineer and Principal Hardware Engineer. Prior to VITEC, experience includes significant tenures at Lucent Technologies, Ascend Communications, and Shiva Europe Ltd, with responsibilities ranging from Principal Hardware Engineer to Senior Hardware Engineer. Stuart began a career in engineering at Lochgoilhead Centre and gained foundational knowledge with a BEng in Microelectronics and Software Engineering from the University of Aberdeen, completed in 1994.
