Ernest Oporto is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in information security and IT leadership. As a Principal Security Engineer at Vitech Systems Group since July 2011, Ernest specializes in developing security measures that ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical systems and data. Previous roles at Vitech include Director of Information Technology and Associate Director of Information Technology, where responsibilities encompassed guiding teams and managing IT strategies for both on-premises and cloud environments. With a technical foundation that began in the early 1990s, Ernest has held positions ranging from Systems Administrator at Xerox and Mentor Graphics to UNIX/Linux Systems Administrator at Eisai Medical Research Inc.
