Fernando Silva

Fernando Silva has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Fernando is currently the Founder & CEO of VITia, Inc., a position they have held since January 2021. Prior to that, they were the Co-Founder & CEO of Sanantia from November 2013 to December 2020.

Before their time at Sanantia, Fernando held various roles at different companies. Fernando served as the Mexico & GEM Head at Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics from April 2011 to November 2013. Prior to that, they were the Oncology Business Unit Head, Mexico, at Merck KGaA from February 2009 to April 2011.

Fernando also has a background in sales and marketing. Fernando worked at Eli Lilly and Company as a National Sales Manager from October 2006 to January 2009. Before that, they held the positions of District Sales Manager and Marketing Manager at the same company from 2002 to 2006.

Their career began with an internship at Bristol-Myers Squibb in 2001. Overall, Fernando has a wealth of experience in leadership, entrepreneurship, and the pharmaceutical industry.

Fernando Silva completed their Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey from 1984 to 1989. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business, which they completed from 2000 to 2002.
