Robert Malina is currently the Institute Director and a Full Professor of Environmental Economics at Hasselt University in Belgium. They also serve as the Director of the Centre for Environmental Sciences and are a Scientific Advisory Body Member at Clean Aviation since 2022. Additionally, Robert leads a subgroup focused on core life-cycle emissions for the International Civil Aviation Organization's CAEP Fuels Task Group since 2016 and is a member of the Board of Directors at VITO since 2023.
