Robert Derby

Robert Derby is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as Finance and Admin Manager for Vitol in Ghana since April 2020. Prior experience includes a role as Business Development Manager for Globeleq, focusing on power development in West Africa, and serving as VP Finance and Chief Financial Officer at Genser Energy Ghana Limited. Robert held various finance leadership positions, including Finance Director and Group Financial Controller at Banlaw Africa Group, and gained valuable experience in cost accounting and compliance at Newmont Ghana Gold Limited. Early career roles encompassed positions at British American Tobacco and KPMG, starting as an Audit Senior and progressing through to management accounting. Robert holds an ACCA qualification and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Ghana.
