Sergio Brignone

Sergio Brignone is an accomplished professional in the power market sector, currently serving as a Power Market Advisor at VEV since July 2024. With extensive experience at Vitol Group from April 2012, Sergio has held roles as both an FTR & Power Trader and Power Analyst. From 2015 to July 2019, Sergio founded Adventure Statistical Investments. Prior experience includes serving as Director of the FTR desk at Deutsche Bank and working as an FTR analyst/trader at Citadel Investment Group. Sergio began a career in the power systems field at Nexant, progressing from Project Leader to analyst/developer from December 2000 to October 2006. Sergio holds a PhD in Power Systems from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor's degree with a specialty in Electrical Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Río Cuarto.
