Sofía Lanz Márquez

Syed Omar Faruk (Towaha) is a highly skilled Project Manager and Technical Lead at the Centre for Analytics, Informatics and Research (CAIR), with extensive experience in data science, high-performance computing, and quantum computing. Currently involved with the Canadian Space Agency and Memorial University, Towaha coordinates research teams, manages project deliverables, and supports students in academic endeavors. Prior positions include Software Developer roles at the University of Essex, bkoSoft AG, and Meta, where significant contributions were made in data integration, ad-fraud detection, and system efficiency improvements. Towaha holds a PhD in Computer Science from Memorial University and has completed professional development programs in Quantum Computing at the University of Oxford and Data Science at the University of Cambridge.
