Michael Schweiger

Michael Schweiger is an experienced project manager and hardware development engineer with a robust background in mechanical engineering and product development. Currently at VITRONIC Machine Vision since July 2016, responsibilities include managing product development projects and hardware engineering. Previously, at Vitronic Dr.-Ing. Stein Bildverarbeitungssysteme GmbH from January 2007 to February 2016, Michael served as a senior designer, focusing on technical concepts, product structuring, and the implementation of Product Lifecycle Management systems. Earlier roles include a development engineer at Nanophotonics AG, where innovations led to two patents, and an engineering intern at ISA Engenharia Ltda, contributing to the design of advanced machinery. Michael holds a Diplom-Ingenieur in mechanical engineering from TU Ilmenau and an Abitur in computer science and physics from Technisches Gymnasium Jena Göschwitz.
