Darren McQueen

Darren McQueen has extensive experience in financial management, holding senior roles in various companies. Darren most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Lorval Capital Management since April 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of CFO at Vitrum Glass Group from February 2020. From October 2017 to October 2019, they served as CFO and Executive Vice President (EVP) at Rokstad Power. Darren also worked at CORIX Group of Companies, where they held multiple roles including CFO, Interim CFO, VP and Corporate Controller, and Corporate Controller from 2004 to 2017. Earlier in their career, they worked as the Financial Accounting Manager at Terasen Inc. from June 2001 to September 2004, and as the Manager of Finance in the Prevention Division at WorkSafeBC from December 1999 to June 2001. Darren started their career as the Manager of Accounting at Arrow Transportation System from December 1995 to December 1999.

Darren McQueen has a strong education background in accounting and finance. Darren obtained their Certified General Accountant (CGA) degree from CGA from 1993 to 1998. Prior to that, they attended Capilano University from 1990 to 1992. Additionally, they hold a CPA, CGA certification from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada).
