Jon Colavito

Jon Colavito has over 16 years of work experience in project management and technical roles. Jon is currently working at Vitu as a Senior Project Manager, where they are responsible for delivering a payment processing suite for the state of California. Jon manages various aspects including contracts, integration requirements, software development, quality control, releases, deployments, and production support. Jon also defines requirements for a payment eco-system that processes over 25k payments per day. Jon serves as the Product Owner for the version 2 of the Backoffice application to streamline business practices.

Prior to Vitu, Jon worked at Fast Enterprises, LLC as a Technical Project Manager, where they delivered multiple hardware and software interfaces for Oregon's DMV modernization project. Jon was responsible for project requirements, task lists, schedules, and communication with interface partners. Jon also worked at 3M as a Senior Project Manager, successfully completing a failing multi-phase Department of Motor Vehicle modernization project. In this role, they managed cross-functional teams and facilitated regular review meetings to minimize miscommunications and project derailments.

Jon also has experience in sales and leasing as a Sales & Leasing Consultant at Sterling McCall Toyota. Jon has worked at CGX (Consolidated Graphics) as an Implementation Support Manager, managing software projects for implementation and support clients. Jon provided technical expertise and contributed to QA and development tasks. Additionally, Jon has worked at Heritage Graphics as a Project Manager, Marketing Manager, and Customer Support Rep, where they implemented workflow processes and improved collaboration with sales and marketing teams. Jon has also worked as a Lifeguard at the City of Tucson.

Throughout their career, Jon has demonstrated strong project management skills, technical expertise, and the ability to deliver successful projects while ensuring client satisfaction.

Jon Colavito obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the University of Arizona, from the years 2003 to 2007. In addition, they also hold a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, which they obtained in November 2016.
