Derrick Lo

Derrick Lo has extensive experience in the media and entertainment industry. Derrick started their career as an Assistant Vice President at MOOV, where they led the acquisition and monetization team for the first digital music service in Hong Kong. Derrick consistently achieved growth and commercial targets by identifying and negotiating telco cooperation and partnerships. Derrick also built and optimized the business operation of acquisition channels. In 2016, Derrick joined Viu as the Vice President and Country Manager for Viu HK. Derrick specialized in meeting the financial and strategic needs of the business in Hong Kong and across GSEA. Derrick played a crucial role in the expansion planning of Viu in GSEA, empowering local teams with knowledge and support to ensure success in new market entries. Their leadership and expertise have contributed to the success of both MOOV and Viu.

Derrick Lo obtained a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the University of Leeds, where they studied from 1987 to 1990. Additionally, they obtained a certification in "Business Analysis: Essential Tools and Techniques" from LinkedIn in March 2022.
