Michael Vacík

Michael Vacík is an experienced UI designer currently working at Vivaldi Technologies since November 2013. Prior to this role, Michael served as a web developer at Opera Software ASA from August 2006 to April 2013, where templates for the website were developed and maintained. Michael's career in web design began at O'Reilly Media from March 2003 to March 2006, creating and coding various web pages and tools. Earlier experience includes web design roles at KnowledgePoint, Metastasis design AS, and Barrandov Film Studios, along with co-founding the web design firm nmd.cz. Michael began the professional journey as a graphic designer and layout coordinator at Softwarové noviny, s.r.o., working on a prominent computer magazine. Formal education includes time at Santa Rosa Junior College and the Prague Conservatory.
