Russell Smith

Russell Smith has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Russell is currently the Director of Software Engineering at VividCloud, a US-based software services company specializing in cloud computing, IoT, and data engineering. In this role, they are responsible for designing and building new products, as well as rearchitecting and migrating legacy software to the cloud. Prior to this, Russell worked as an Engineering Manager at VividCloud, where they played a key role in digital transformation projects by leveraging cloud computing, IoT, and big data technologies.

Before joining VividCloud, Russell worked at Tyler Technologies as an Architecture - Munis Infrastructure specialist, focusing on the development of the Munis ERP system using .NET, Azure, and Genero technologies. Russell also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Tyler Technologies, contributing to the development of the Munis ERP system for North America's public sector.
