Stephen Goss

Stephen Goss has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Stephen is currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer and Technical & Team Lead at VividCloud, leading a small team in delivering client projects and providing technical guidance. Prior to this, Stephen worked as a Senior Software Engineer at VividCloud, where they helped clients with digital transformation by leveraging cloud computing, IoT, and data engineering technologies.

Before joining VividCloud, Stephen worked at Kepware as a Senior Software Engineer, specializing in DevOps and developing drivers for Industrial IoT applications. Stephen also played a key role in migrating a flagship product to a cross-platform implementation.

Stephen's earlier experiences include working at Xerox as a Senior Software Licensing Engineer, where they implemented tools for software license compliance and developed Java applications. Stephen also worked as an Embedded Controls Design Engineer at Xerox, where they developed embedded control systems for printers using Verilog and C.

Stephen started their career as a Part-time & Co-op Embedded Software Engineer at D3 Engineering. Stephen also gained valuable experience during their time at the Center for Campus Life at Rochester Institute of Technology, where they held roles such as Coordinator of Technical and Special Projects and Lead Orientation Coordinator. Additionally, Stephen worked as a Co-op Software Engineer at Lamprey Networks.

Throughout their career, Stephen has demonstrated expertise in software development, technical leadership, cloud computing, IoT, and data engineering. Stephen has a strong background in both hardware and software engineering, making him a versatile and adaptable professional.

Stephen Goss obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology from 2008 to 2013.
