David Liu has extensive experience in product management and firmware development, currently serving as the Chief Product Officer and President of VIVOTEK USA Inc. since September 2006. Liu has overseen various departments within the company, including managing the Sales Engineer Department and leading the International Project Department to support global customers. Previous roles at VIVOTEK include Deputy Manager of R&D, Supervisor of Firmware R&D Engineers, and Senior Firmware Engineer, where important contributions were made in IP camera firmware development and application specification design. Prior to VIVOTEK, Liu worked at Afatech as a Firmware Engineer, focusing on Homeplug firmware development. Liu holds a Master of Science in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from National Taiwan University and a Bachelor of Science in the same field from National Chiao Tung University.
