Floor van de Velde

Floor van de Velde is currently the Head of Education Programs at Vizcom, where they lead global education strategy and scale generative AI into educational practices. They also serve as a Visiting Faculty at the University of California, Berkeley, teaching graduate-level courses that merge human-centered design and emerging technologies. Previously, they were a Professor of the Practice at Tufts University, where they enriched the curriculum in contemporary art and design. Floor's earlier roles include Creative Consultant at The MIT Press and Senior Creative Director at Chapter Three. They hold both a Master of Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design.
