Sydney Smith

Sydney Smith has a diverse work experience spanning from 2017 to the present. Starting in 2017, Sydney worked as a Top Sales Associate Assistant at Nordstrom, where they supported a top sales associate and focused on delivering excellent customer service. In 2018, Sydney held various positions at the University of Rhode Island, including being the Vice President of the URI CSIC Student Board, where they made decisions and mentored club teams. They also served as the Head of the CSIC Internal Social Relations and Events Committee, organizing events to promote inclusivity within club sports.

In 2019, Sydney worked as a Social Media Intern at The Marine Mammal Center, creating social media posts and implementing lead generation campaigns. They then joined Mary Norton Acupuncture as an Office Administrator, managing client schedules, overseeing vendors, and building positive client relationships. Later that year, Sydney became a Social Media Manager at Farmhouse Lab, focusing on running paid social media campaigns and generating leads.

In 2019, Sydney also worked as a Digital Marketing & PR Manager for author June Sylvester Saraceno, managing social media accounts and website redesign. From 2019 to 2020, Sydney served as an Office Administrator at SteelRiver Infrastructure Partners, handling documentation and organizational projects.

Most recently, Sydney was a Customer Service Representative at LGC, Biosearch Technologies, where they supported customers in the pharma and biotech industries throughout the ordering process. In 2023, Sydney will begin working as a Sales Order Administrator at Vizgen.

Throughout their work experience, Sydney has demonstrated strong organizational skills, customer service abilities, and a passion for digital marketing and social media management.

Sydney Smith's education history starts with their high school diploma from Tamalpais High School, which they obtained from 2011 to 2015. They then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography at the University of Rhode Island from 2015 to 2019.

In addition to their formal education, Sydney has obtained several certifications. They received certifications in Online Marketing Foundations from LinkedIn in April 2020 and Google Analytics for Beginners from Google Analytics Academy in April 2020 as well. In September 2017, Sydney obtained certifications in Advanced Open Water, EFR - Primary Care (CPR) & Sec Care (1st) w/ AED, Emergency Oxygen Provider, and Open Water from PADI.
