David Ertel

David Ertel is currently the CFO at Vizient. Prior to their current position, they were with Clarify Health Solutions, Tegria, and Vizient, Inc. David also spent time as a Senior Advisor at BDC Advisors, LLC from December 2017 to May 2018. From July 2016 to November 2017, they were the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Strategy Officer at the University of Miami Health System and Miller School of Medicine. From March 2013 to July 2016, they were the Chief Financial Officer at Einstein Healthcare Network. And from March 2005 to March 2013, they were the Vice Chairman of the Board and Chair of the Finance Committee at Princeton Healthcare System. Prior to their work in healthcare, they were a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley from April 2000 to February 2013, where they were head of health care finance in the public finance department.

David Ertel has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Public Health (MPH) from Columbia University. David also has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science and Government from American University.

They are on a team with Bharat Sundaram - President & COO, David Berry - Chief Legal Officer, and Taylor White - Group SVP, Strategy, Marketing & Corporate Development. David Ertel reports to Byron Jobe, President & CEO.
